The Sandy Garden & Craft Show is over for another year and because the 2025 Show was successful again, despite some challenging weather conditions earlier in the spring, followed by a very warm summer, there will be a Sandy Garden & Craft Show in 2026! Put the 29th August 2026 into your diary and we hope to see you all there once more!

Welcome to The Sandy Garden & Craft Show!
Previously known as Sandy Floral & Horticultural Society and in more recent times as the Sandy & District Horticultural Association, has been organising The Sandy Show for around 156 years and, for 2024, we updated our fresher style with a greater focus on crafting hobbies, as well as the more traditional categories of flowers, vegetables & culinary arts. We hope you liked the changes that were made and continued with the 2024 Show. Following the success of the 2024 Show, with a 12% increase in the number of entries and the additional space afforded by the use of the Conservative Bowls Club Pavilion, it was agreed to run the Sandy Garden and Craft Show again in 2025.

Last year's Show was also very successful with even more entries.This year, the Show will be held on Saturday 29th August and we look forward to seeing you there at Sandy Conservative Club on Show day!

The 2026 Sandy Garden & Craft Show includes the following Classes:

  • Championship Class - Dahlias

  • Top Tray - Vegetables

  • Top Vase - Flowers

  • Largest Sunflower Head - The Coronation Cup

  • Ugliest Wonky Vegetable

    Our Show classes are grouped into sections to ensure there is something for everyone. If you don’t see a class that you would like to enter, let the Show Team know! We’re always looking for new and exciting classes to enable everyone to show off their skills.

Our 11 sections are:

A. Vegetables (incuding Top Tray)

B.Fruit

C.Dahlias

D. All other flowers

E. Floral Art

F. Soft Handicraft

G. Hard Handicraft (including Paintings, Drawings & Photography)

H. Cookery (including bakery items)

J. Preserves

K. Wines, Beers & Spirits

L. Young Persons (Up to and including age 16)
