“Another successful Show!”
In 2024, entries up 12% vs last year, and although a similar number of exhibitors to the 2023 Show, 28 were new to the joy and pleasure of exhibiting their creations for the first time! Also encouraging, was the number of younger persons involved, including a competition organised by Sandy Library and an entry in the Scarecrow class by the children of Sandy Children's centre, supported by Central Bedfordshire Council.
"This year's results augur well for the potential future of the event but the ongoing support of everyone who got involved in 2024 (Sponsors, Entrants, Judges, Steward, helpers and not least, our Visitors) is needed to make it happen", Chair of The Sandy Show organising committee.

Welcome to The Sandy Garden & Craft Show!
Previously known as Sandy Floral & Horticultural Society and in more recent times as the Sandy & District Horticultural Association, has been organising The Sandy Show for around 156 years and, for 2024, we updated our fresher style with a greater focus on crafting hobbies, as well as the more traditional categories of flowers, vegetables & culinary arts. We hope you liked the changes that were made and continued with the 2024 Show.

Our Show classes are grouped into sections to ensure there is something for everyone. If you don’t see a class that you would like to enter, let the Show Team know! We’re always looking for new and exciting classes to enable everyone to show off their skills.
